My order was shipped 2 weeks ago and I still have not gotten it. What should I do?
DOMESTIC CUSTOMERS: It's best to first check the address we shipped to, which was provided to us when you checked out. We send two emails to a purchaser; when we receive the order and and when your package is shipped. Did you get those emails? Please find them and see that the proper address was provided. Email us if it was not. If it was, please check with your local post office to see if the package is waiting for you, otherwise, email us and we'll help you out!
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: It can take a VERY long time for your package to get to you, even if you are only in Canada. Please be patient. It typically takes 3 weeks for international orders to arrive, but it is not uncommon for it to take longer. We apologize that tracking for international order is not available online through USPS. If it has been over a month since your order was shipped and you need personal assistance with these matters, just get in touch and we will figure it out!
(back to top)I am trying to order something but it doesn't look like you have my size. What's up with that?
It is likely that the item you want is currently out of stock. We're sorry! It is probably only a temporary issue. Please check back and see if we have more in stock at another time. You can always email us to see when we'll have it back, too. Thanks!
(back to top)We accept payment online by Visa, Mastercard and through Paypal.
If you'd like, you can also call in your order at our store. Call 503.281.TOFU and we'll happily help you out.

I have a question, who should I ask?
Write to us! We're helpful and nice and might even make you laugh. We'll definitely tell you all about our products and give you recommendations.
(back to top)Return Policy and Exchange Process
All returns and exchanges must be done in a timely manner. 3 months is not timely, FYI.
Mail returns/exchanges to us with your invoice (or at least invoice date and number) and instructions for return/exhange (ie. different style, size). Be sure to provide a phone number or the best email address to contact you if we have questions. If you have received a damaged item please contact us and we will gladly help you out.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you provide the invoice number or at least the email address you used to purchase the item, and that you include your name, shipping address, and a note with instructions. Heather is truly an amazing person, but she does not have the ability to read your mind.
**We do not exchange items that have been washed, worn, ARE COVERED IN DOG OR CAT HAIR, or that have overwhelming smells (perfume, oils, etc.) These items are not in saleable condition. We also do NOT exchange or return books, unless they are damaged or defective.** We really mean it about animal hair. While we love animals and live with animals, people with allergies can't wear a shirt that Fluffy slept on.
The customer is responsible for all shipping fees back to Herbivore, and Herbivore will pay the shipping for the new item to be sent. This applies to all first exchanges in the US and Canada, shipping for any additional exchanges on the order are the customers responsiblity.

(back to top)Because we know how important security is for our customers, Herbivore has taken great measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of ordering information such as credit card numbers, addresses and personal data.
Herbivore uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology for encrypting data transmitted over the internet. SSL was created by Netscape and is supported by most internet browsers, including Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer. If you see a blue line at the top of your window and a symbol (usually in the lower portion of your screen) that looks like a lock and key, then you are protected by SSL protocol. Other browsers use similar, but not necessarily identical, indicators.

(back to top)We are open Monday - Saturday from 10 to 6, and Sunday from 10 to 5. We are closed some holidays. The big ones. Not groundhog day, though we do have mad respect for the groundhog. We close on Thanksgiving, Christmas, the 4th of July, Labor Day and Memorial Day.
(back to top)Will Herbivore donate something for my group to auction off?
We aren't. But good luck!
(back to top)Do you have any internships available?
We don't, but we wish you luck in your search.
(back to top)How can I get my stuff sold at Herbivore?
Well, first and foremost, everything in our store is vegan and every company we work with is vegan or vegetarian owned or started, or things are designed by a vegan or veggie designer. We do our very best to make sure nothing we sell was made under exploitive labor conditions like those in a sweatshop.
If you are still in the running, feel free to get in touch. We like a wide variety of things, but we can't carry everything we like due to space restraints. Don't let this scare you off, we absolutely adore small veg*n companies and want to know about all of them and work with as many as we can. Write us!
(back to top)How do I purchase a gift certificate?
Gift certificates are available in the "gift certificate" section of our site. Simply add to your cart the amount that you want to purchase, and shipping will be added to the order (so the recipient doesn't have to use their gifted money to pay it!). You will receive the gift certificate in the mail.
If you would like the certificate mailed to the recipient, please indicate the correct name and shipping address on your order, in the comments section.
How do I redeem my gift certificate?
You will not be able to redeem your certificate through our site. Instead, simply email your order to orders@herbivoreclothing.com. Be sure to include your certificate number, name, and shipping address. If the certificate was ordered online, the shipping to get your items to you has already been paid. If it was purchased in our store, you will be asked to pay the shipping. We do this by emailing you a "money request" via Paypal. If you don't know how your certificate was purchased, don't stress. We do. We'll let you know.
(back to top)Why do I need to create an account?
We require you to create an account so we can give you better customer service. From your account, we'll know your name, street address and email address, and we'll have a complete history of your orders. We will NOT have your credit card or paypal information.
(back to top)How do I update my Herbivore account information?
Go to Login/Register at the left top of the home page. Enter your email and password. Click Login. You are now logged into your account. It will take you back to the home page. This time, just click on Your Account on the top left of the screen. Here you will be able to see your account info (name, address, email, etc.). Make your changes here and click Update when you are all done.
(back to top)Having trouble with the Herbivore website?
We're very sorry. Please email and let us know.
(back to top)What kind of shirts does Herbivore Use?
We use American Apparel for most of our designs. They are not a sweatshop and are made in the USA.
The other brand we use is TS Designs. They are also made in the USA, are ecologically sensitive printers and are proudly 100% sweatshop free. The KEEP SINGING shirt is printed on a TS Shirt with their non-toxic printing process.
